Classes will begin with mindful meditation and reflective reading to assist with centering the mind and body, allowing the student to fully be present in the moment. We then transition into subtle movements that begin to “wake up” the body through stretching and yoga poses. The remaining class focuses on Classical Pilates mat exercises.
Each week I will incorporate new Pilates exercises. Each exercise will incorporate the Core Principals of Pilates: Breath, Concentration, Centering, Control, Precision, and Flow providing overall body conditioning that develops core and back strength, increase flexibility, coordination, and balance.
No previous experience necessary and modifications made for all levels of experience. Please discuss any areas of concern with me prior to class.
Certification: Mat 1 & Mat 2
Investment for Self-care:
Individual one-on-one session: $50 / hr
Pilates for a pair session: $30 / hr per person for two people
Group session: $10 per person (minimum of 5 people)
5% off a package of 4 reoccurring pilates classes
*Our pilates services are currently only being held virtually via zoom due to Covid-19 safety precautions. When it is safe to do so, we will resume holding in-person classes for individuals and groups.
